The film is intended as a part of a cycle of films devoted to vanishing occupation. Each of these occupations is associated with one particular month of the year. Thus, a calendar is made that portrays a harmony our co-existence of Men and Nature against the background of changing seasons. At the end of the second millennium and the disappearance of the basic values, the film is a return to our sources. The episode "Shepherds on the Mountain Pasture" shows the life of the last flock-masters during their June pasturage.
